Our consulting group provides a full array of commissioning services for both new and existing buildings. In new construction, starting with a review of the system design and following through to O&M turnover, our engineers take a hands-on approach resulting in the assurance of an efficiently operating system. Our testing procedures are custom built for each project, ensuring that the full operational intent of the owner is captured. In existing buildings, we dig deep while conducting retro-commissioning to get buildings back on track, and our energy audits capture sensible energy conservation measures that work from both a logistical and financial perspective. When engaged to achieve Local Law 87 compliance, our team doesn't just check the boxes - we will make your building operate as efficiently as possible and will work with the O&M staff to ensure they have the knowledge to keep it that way.

Our technical services group provides start-up services on complex HVAC equipment from a wide range of manufacturers. They also perform preventive maintenance in buildings to keep equipment operating properly - eliminating down time and reducing energy consumption. We also provide turn-key retrofits, where everything from the initial evaluation, equipment selection, and installation is handled by MIH.

Holding Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Mechanical Inspector, and LEED AP accreditations, our team has the knowledge and experience to deliver reliable and efficient systems on every project.
